Quinn grinned back, happy that she could spend more time with Rachel. “I don’t think I can go when you do though, I need to pack and say my goodbyes.”

Quinn grinned, “Awesome.”
“This is going to be the greatest summer ever, you realize?”
Quinn sighed, “Fine. But I sleep on the couch, it’s your bed.”
Rachel broke into a wide grin, tackling Quinn across her bed. “You, are, the, best!” She said, kissing her after each word.

Quinn sighed, “Fine. But I sleep on the couch, it’s your bed.”

“So, I’m gonna live in New York and take the 2-and-a-half-hour trip to school everyday? I don’t think that’s gonna work.”
Rachel let out a quiet “no”, grinning bashfully. “I waited three years for this, I don’t think a few miles will make a difference now.”
“And for the summer? That’s a lot more than a few miles.”

She nodded again, biting her lip nervously.
Quinn shook her head, “And here I was, all this time, dating Finn fucking Hudson. If I’d just turned around I could’ve had you.”
Rachel shook her head, placing a finger to Quinn’s lips. “It’s in the past. We can’t worry about that now, okay? Only the future.”
Quinn was flabbergasted, “I- What? Three years? Since we were sophomores?”
Rachel nodded, color flooding her face. “Yeah. It’s stupid, I know.”
Quinn shook her head, “No, it’s not stupid. Not at all. Just surprising. Even when I made your life complete hell you had feelings for me?”
She nodded again, biting her lip nervously.
“Rachel. I want to, I really do, but I can’t just pack my bags and leave 2 months early.”
Rachel groaned, rubbing her eyes with the backs of her hands. “I’ve waited for you for three years, Quinn. Three years, I tried to forget about you, I watched you fall in love and fall out of it, but in those three years, I never stopped thinking about you. We’re old enough to go out on our own now, but I don’t want to be alone. I want you to be with me.” She said quietly.
Quinn was flabbergasted, “I- What? Three years? Since we were sophomores?”
